Le ghiande e Cairns

Parlando di ghiande….

“Pensare che in una ghianda c’è scritta una quercia, una foresta…..” dice un amico….

Ma non solo la ghianda ma ognuna delle sue 1,875×10⁹ cellule riporta la ghianda, la quercia e l’intera foresta, come sequenza di potenziali “behavior pattern” cioè moduli comportamentali attivabili, cioè il DNA. Quali attivare, in che sequenza, lo decidono invece gli attuatori che sono circa 100mila per ogni cellula, sono sulla membrana e agiscono in base a cosa arriva, dall’ambiente, che al 99,9% è una altra cellula adiacente. Quindi in ogni ghianda ci sono scritte 1.875.000.000.000 volte le istruzioni su come fare una ghianda, una quercia, una foresta ma anche come modificarla, in che modo e in che tempi se cambia l’ambiente…. non aspettando un errore del RNA che , guarda caso, migliori per fortuna le possibilità di sopravvivenza della ghianda, ma attivando, in caso di stress, vorticose variazioni di replicazioni nella zona interessata ai comportamenti inerenti la sfera d’azione dello stress in oggetto, al calare dello stress, le replicazioni si interrompono, la sequenza “vincente” viene inglobata nel DNA ristrutturato e tale variazione viene trasferita alle ghiande a venire, alla discendenza, a tutte le foreste che verranno ….

Mio riassunto libero delle scoperte di John Cairns.

Tali scoperte hanno implicazioni clamorose anche per motivi importantissimi che riguardano non le ghiande, ma noi. Prima cosa i tempi di evoluzione diventano più veloci di diversi ordini di grandezza, poi si evince una intelligenza sublime di fondo che non lascia più nulla al caso, (con buona pace di Jacques Monod . “Il caso e la necessità”) ma soprattutto questa implementazione dell’epigenetica dice che ciò che faremo, che saremo, felici o smorti, attivi o passivi, vincitori infine o tristi, non è scritto nel Dna, quelli sono i mille e mille sentieri imboccabili, ma quale imboccare sta a noi, minuto per minuto….

Sta a noi.

Ma c’è addirittura ancora di più….
Il dna di ogni cellula , allungato, arriverebbe a un metro e mezzo, calcolando che ne abbiamo 50 trilioni, potremmo annodandoli, fare dalla Terra alla Luna centomila volte.
E il DNA è un’antenna. Il Dna “sente” recepisce messaggi….. e ne trasmette anche…. da ovunque, e soprattutto, dal nostro pensiero….. che come ormai sappiamo, e Giordano Bruno sapeva già nell’anno 1600, CREA la realtà.
